The Christian Education Ministry, a key part of the Education Ministry at Lighthouse Baptist Church, is dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and Biblical understanding for all age groups.  Through a variety of classes—including Bible studies, and special training sessions—we offer Christ-centered instruction that meets individuals at every stage of their faith journey.  From children and youth to adults and seniors, our goal is to provide sound Biblical teaching, practical life application, and a welcoming environment that helps each person grow in their walk with Christ and live out their faith daily.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun and engaging three-day event offered for all age groups at Lighthouse Baptist Church.  Designed to bring the entire church and community together, VBS combines Bible teaching, worship, crafts, games, and fellowship in a dynamic and Christ-centered environment.  Each session is carefully planned to help participants grow in their understanding of God’s Word while building lasting relationships and strengthening their faith. Whether you’re a child, teen, or adult, VBS offers something for everyone and serves as a powerful opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate the love of Jesus. 

The Scholarship Ministry at Lighthouse is committed to encouraging and supporting the academic and spiritual growth of its youth.  Each year, scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who are active members of the church and have met the academic and ministry involvement requirements for one of several available scholarships. These scholarships are open to students pursuing higher education in various forms, including trade schools, associate degree programs as well as traditional four-year colleges. Through this ministry, we aim to invest in the future of our young people as they take the next step in their educational and faith journey.

The Academic Achievement Ministry at Lighthouse celebrates and encourages the educational success of its youth.  Each marking period, students from 1st through 12th grade are publicly recognized for their academic performance and dedication to their studies.  As a way to honor their hard work, students receive a token of appreciation to reinforce the value of education and consistent effort.  This ministry serves as a reminder that striving for excellence in school is both important and worthy of celebration within the church.

The Community Engagement Ministry at Lighthouse is dedicated to keeping our church family informed and involved in local political and community activities. This ministry serves as a bridge between the church and the broader community, providing updates on important civic issues, upcoming events, and opportunities for involvement.
